Each year, the Post offers up to five scholarships to a relative of one of our members. The member can be Legion, Auxiliary, or Sons of the American Legion, and the relative can be a son, daughter, grandson, granddaughter, niece, nephew, etc., of one of them.
This monthly meal is a way to defray some of the expenses (up to $5000 a year) of the scholarships.
Linda will be unable to make Tacos on Tuesday, October 15th.
John and Amy have cancelled their Sunday “Stadium Menu” effective immediately.
Bar open Labor Day from 10am-10pm
Coming this week:
Friday: Fish Fry 5-7pm followed by Karaoke from 8-11p
Saturday: Meat Raffle from 1-3pm and TNT Kitchen will serve good but affordable food during the same hours.
If you didn’t get a ticket for the Drawdown dinner, you missed an awesome meal. And, the drawing is still to come.

Sunday, September 1st will be the 2nd Annual Pre-Labor Day Dart Tounament sponsored by Accel Entertainment and Low Ton Darts at our American Legion Post. This promises to be a day of great entertainment, great darts, and great prizes.
In addition, our very own Tim Calkins, Adjutant for the Sons of the American Legion, has agreed to provide food for the event. Don’t let the low prices for his food fool you, Tim’s an awesome chef.
See you at the Post!
The orders are flying in for today’s benefit lunch. Linda has already been to the store to buy more meat. I think it’s going to be a sell out in our communities effort to help a friend in need. Way to step up, Post!
Tonight is a Scholarship Chicken Dinner instead of Burger Night because John Jr and Amy are on their honeymoon and won’t be doing Burger Night. Two pieces of chicken for $10, three for $12 along with mashed potatoes, green beans and more. Proceeds will help us pay for the up to five scholarships we give to the relatives of our members each year.
There’s no greater thing that we can do than to help a friend in need.
Junior’s Joint will not be serving lunch this week due to the proprietors’ honeymoon. Linda will still have her Taco Tuesday as scheduled.
